Bicester’s hail-and-ride E1 bus service is open to all

Bicester’s hail-and-ride E1 bus service is open to all

Some people think the E1 service is only for the use of Elmsbrook residents, but that’s not the case.

The bus operates along a route linking the new development of Elmsbrook to Bicester town centre.

The bus is a new, low emissions vehicle that is comfortable and convenient. It runs every 30 minutes from 6.30am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm on Saturday travelling down Banbury Road into Bicester town centre.
It also serves Bicester Village Train Station at peak times.

The E1 is a registered hail-and-ride service, so while it does have a few designated stops, it will stop anywhere along the route that is safe to do so.

Since Elmsbrook is an eco-development, its lead developer A2Dominion commissioned the E1 as a way of encouraging people to travel more sustainably.

It is operated by local firm Grayline Coaches and the timetable is available at this URL:
