Development plans for South East Bicester are still in the early stages.
Redrow and Wates Developments submitted outline plans for 1,500 homes as part of Bicester’s wider Garden Town initiative in summer 2016.
The Wretchwick Green mixed-use development includes 450 affordable homes, together with a large primary school and a district centre with shops and a community centre.
The new community to the south east of Bicester will be built over 10-15 years.
A major element of the proposal is green infrastructure with over 150 acres greenspace being provided ranging from large areas of general open and sports space to over 50 acres of ecological enhancement.
