Bicester’s multi-million town centre regeneration will culminate with the delivery of Franklins House; a five-storey building offering a range of amenities for locals and visitors.
Based in Pioneer Square, the £6.5 million building was delivered by Morgan Sindall on behalf of Cherwell District Council.
The 20 metre high building has been built on the site of the former Franklins Yard provide a total internal space of 4,643 square metres.
The ground floor comprises a Cherwell District Council Link Point office, space for Brethertons solicitors and retail space.
Upstairs on the first floor Oxfordshire County Council houses its new, state of the art library which will also includes Bicester Local History Society.
The remainder of the space has been set aside for office use, including additional space for Brethertons.
There is additional space on the second floor while the third and fourth floor accommodates a 52-bedroom Travelodge Hotel.
Car parking for Franklins House was provided for in advance as part of the first phase of the regeneration project.
