As Bicester grows so will its population, including the younger and future generations. Tens of thousands of jobs are being created to meet the needs of the adults but before they reach the age of employment, youngsters will need an education. This is being addressed through the provision of several new schools which will take children from their very first day at school to their very last.
There are many early years education options and schools already serving Bicester residents, ranging from nurseries and children’s centres to primary, secondary and special schools.
New schools are being built so that there are enough school places for local children and young people. There will be a new primary and secondary school at Kingsmere, a new primary school at Graven Hill and new schools at North West Bicester, the first of which will be a primary school built in the first phase of development.
